I recorded this demo on a Tascam 4 track cassette recorder in 1998 or so.

The drums and piano sounds were created on a Korg M-1 and built around a metronome-free acoustic guitar + vocal track. Lots of DI sounds.

Since I don't really play drums or piano, I was surprised that I was able to make these sounds.

I believe this version of the song was transferred from analog cassette to digital at Albatross studios in Minneapolis, with Mike Wisti twisting compressor knobs and such.

That being said, this version, posted to Bandcamp as a wave file on 10/3/2022, was generated from an MP3 file that was rescued from an old iTunes folder on a hard drive.

That folder is called: "itunes backup 3 21 2010 lotsa 4 track stuff and other gems."
